FanArt.tv Stores 1000’s of Music Releases, Artist Info, Song Info & Album Artwork
We’ve used Last.fm API to fetch song info, displayed as now playing song info, including album images on our radio pages.
Last.fm have made some changes to their API and how it can be used, so we have switched our radio widget to FanArt API.
There’s not as much artist and song info as Last.fm yet, but more artist and music release are starting to show up on FanArt.
You may see tracks without album images in our now playing song widget on radio pages, they may not be listed on FanArt.
You can contribute to FanArt by submitting album info for tracks they don’t have listed yet – Add Album To FanArt Database
If your music is listed on Amazon & FanArt.tv our radio widget displays current song/artist info with buy links to Amazon.
Listeners can purchase any track played on MixLive channels, from Song History, they are redirected to Amazon Music Store.
Radio owners can link their Amazon Affiliate ID to our application and earn revenue for tracks sold through their radio page.
If your radio page has the Song History widget enabled, we can auto-tweet your current playing song to our Twitter feed.
If you’re sending new music releases to Submit Promo Radio make sure they’re listed on Amazon Music Store and FanArt.tv
Our radio widget gets your artist/song info from FanArt and display it on MixLive radio pages when your track is played.
This is a great opportunity to give back to the artists for their hard work and advertise their music to listeners world-wide.
The Song History widget in the right sidebar on this page uses a horizontal display, (Psybient Sunset – Song history)
The widget displays Current Playing Song, Artist Bio, Last Played Tracks, Song Artwork/Images & Amazon Buy Links.

If your Shoutcast channel is listed on MixLive and you’d like to add Current Artist/Song Info & Amazon Buy links.
Contact us with the Admin password you use to access the admin login section for your Shoutcast status page.
We don’t need your radio admin or stream password, this is a separate password you create in your radio panel.
Example Shoutcast Status Page: http://198.24.145.146:9318/index.html?sid=1
Click the Server Login link in the top right menu, username is always “admin”
If you use Shoutcast Version 1 this link will say “Admin” instead of Server Login
You can change the admin password for this section in your radio control panel.
If you’re using WHMSonic, click Edit/Update My Radio link and set a “Radio Admin Password”
If you’re using Centova Cast, you can get the Admin Password under “Settings” in the left menu.
Our Shoutcast scripts connect to FanArt API which then retrieves artist/song info and displays it on your radio page.
